My file is very large, too big to email. How can I send it?
Our online file uploader can handle files up to 200mb in size, which covers most print jobs we handle. If however, your file is larger than 200mb that is no problem too! We typically use WeTransfer or Dropbox for large file sizes. If you are still stuck, please get in touch with us and one of the team will assist you.
Do you offer same day or next day printing?
Yes, we offer a same day or next day print service. This is always subject to availability so please contact us if your order is that urgent and refer to our deliveries page.
Will the colours on my print be the same as my computer screen?
Probably not! This is because the image you see on your screen is made up of red, green and blue colours and your screen is, in effect a big light bulb. As paper cannot be illuminated in the same way, the ink colours do not have the benefit of enhancement by light, thus making them less bright (commonly referred to as subtractive colour). We do however calibrate our printers to ensure the best colour range possible. If in doubt we recommend you order a proof, to ensure you are happy with the printed outcome.
Can you design my files for me?
Yes we can! We offer a full graphic design service with an in-house team of professional designers. Please contact us or visit our Graphic Design section for more information.

No, we will always check your files before we print. If we find anything wrong with your file in terms of quality, position, size etc. we will always contact you and advise you on the best way to rectify it. If you can’t, we will offer a solution. Unfortunately we cannot check for grammar and punctuation errors and will not be held accountable for any that exist in your printed products.
Can I get a printed proof?
We do offer printed proofs, which we typically charge £20 + VAT for. This cost is then deducted from your print order should you wish to proceed with it. For final orders of a value of £50.00 + vat or more.
What are crop marks and bleed?
Bleed is a very important element that must be taken into consideration when creating any printed piece. Bleed refers to any artwork where graphics/info/colour is going to the edge of the page. You must provide 3mm of this content or image outside the cut area. This is done to ensure that there is no white paper showing around the edge of a printed piece. We guillotine through this additional 3mm, to give the perfect full colour, edge to edge final product. We would also advise text and borders etc. be around 5mm away from the edge of the printed piece, this is known as a ‘safe area’.
Crop marks refer to little lines that show the person cutting down each sheet where to cut, these are not typically required, and if they are for your project – we will let you know.
What type of file formats to you accept?
Adobe Acrobat PDF format files are our preferred choice. PDF’s must be press optimised (print ready) with bleed, crop marks and fonts embedded. When creating PDF files please note that books or booklets over four pages must not be supplied as spreads always create a PDF containing individual pages, not spreads.
Other file types we accept are: EPS, JPEG (300dpi only) & TIFF (300dpi only). Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files must be converted or printed to PDF format before sending.
If your artwork has graphics/info that is to be printed up to the edge of the page, you must add 3mm bleed. We also recommend that any text is kept at least 5mm away from the edge of the page.
